Our mission is help everyone to better experience location through better maps on the web.

We cover a variety of topics, from current affairs, to science to travel and sports and aim to provide informative content that is fun to engage with.

Why zyx? 

Maps use “xyz” coordinates and as the “z” axis is pointing to you, the viewer, we want to you to get involved and interact with our maps. We want to turn “xyz” on its head and reversed “xyz” to “zyx”.

Most maps on ZyXmaps.com may be used under a CC BY-SA 4.0 license. Additional license restrictions may apply and are listed in the individual map description. In case OpenStreetMap data is used, the OSM licensing conditions need to be adhered to as well.
